4 v.; 12mo. Vols 1 and 3 apparently wanting titles and prelims. Former eighteenth-century shelfmark: '96' in all volumes. 'Springhill' in pencil to flyleaves/inside boards. Provenance: First leaf of printed text in each volume inscribed: "Harriett Staples" [i.e. Henrietta Staples, née Molesworth (1745-1812)]. Binding: Eighteenth-century half speckled goatskin and marbled paper over boards, flat spines ruled gilt, red labels (preserved in only vols 1 and 4.). Marbled paper lost from v. 1, heads and tails of spines damaged, corner leathers largely lost.
