[i.e. catalogue code of John Mitchell (ca. 1685-1751), librarian to Sir Richard Ellys (1682-1742)]. Binding: eighteenth-century[?] full sprinkled calf; gilt fillet and two roll patterns to form a border; gilt quatrefoil centepiece stamp, within which are four smaller tulip stamps and one floral stamp; gilt roll pattern along board edges; gold-tooled spine, with gilt title label. Red sprinkled egdes. Marbled endpapers.
