Manuscript number on vol. 1 front fly-leaf: "17". Manuscript inscription at head of title pages, former owner's name[?], scribbled over in ink and illegible. Binding: eighteenth-century full sprinkled calf; sewn on four supports; six raised bands; blind roll pattern border; gilt roll pattern along board edges; gold-tooled spines; title label missing from spines; gilt vol. number lettered directly on spines. Red sprinkled textblock edges.
