He has short thick fair hair, moustache and a small central beard. His eyes are blue and skin fair. He wears a white ruff over a brown and red slashed costume with a black drape over his near shoulder. His face is in full light, contrasted against a dark back-ground, whilst the back of his head is silhouetted against a light ground. Wrapped in paper inscribed in ink; 'Sir George Crewe Bart/Berners Hotel/Bernred(?) St.'.
