Summary
Oil painting on canvas, Woody Road Scene by Frédéric de Moucheron (Emden 1633 – Amsterdam 1686), signed 'Moucheron ft'. Figures possibly by Johannes Lingelbach (1622-74) or Adriaen Van de Velde (died 1672). In the road a peasant woman talks to man with donkey, dog and basket lie on ground. Beyond them, man walks away with others in front of him. Road set among rocks trees and foliage, with village bay and rolling hills in far distance. Moulded gilt frame.
