Oil painting on canvas, Field-Marshal Sir Donald Stewart, 1st Bt, GCB (1824 - 1900) (9th Lancers), British (English) School, late 19th century. A half-length portrait of the father of Lady Flora Jenner, looking left with grey hair and wearing a scarlet tunic. In one hand he holds his cap and in the other his white gloves.
Provenance
Bequeathed to the National Trust, along with the house, furniture and other contents collected by Sir Walter Jenner, 2nd Bt (1860 - 1948), in 1949.
