Lytes Cary Manor, Somerset (Accredited Museum)
An oak and upholstered armchair, probably French, early 18th century. With an over stuffed back and seat, shaped arms and turned pillar legs tied by a moulded cross stretcher. Some alteration, upholstered in a later pink damask.
Bequest of Lytes Cary Manor and other freehold lands, tenements, property and chattels from Sir Walter Kentish William Jenner, in his will dated 14th May 1948.
