Gold framed ivory miniature by Antonio Tomasich Y Haro of Matilda Gibbs, looking to the left in a black dress and black and white headdress, wearing a crucifix. Signed and dated: A. Tomasich 1876. On the reverse a printed label inside the glass reads: MATILDA B. GIBBS / Painted by Mr. Tomasich in 1876 (Sotheby's description). Framed oval ivory miniature by Antonio Tomasich Y Haro 1820 - 1890.
