Oil painting on canvas, An Unknown Woman in Blue, English School, circa 1720-30. A half-length portrait of a woman wearing a decollete green-blue dress with cotton chemise/shift, her head turned slightly to her right, facing, with a loose curl of hair over her right shoulder.
Bequeathed to the National Trust by Edgar Graham Lister (1873 – 1956) with the house and collection of furniture in 1956.
