Chest of drawers of walnut, Box/Holly, c1700. § The top, with stringing outlining corner quarter-circles and a central oval, has a moulded edge and is supported on dovetailed sides also with stringing above a moulded base and bracket feet. The drawer fronts, of book-matched burr walnut with further stringing, have later loop handles on engraved brass plates, (at least the third set) and are separated by D-shaped mouldings on the carcase. § Restorations, include Right front foot replaced in elm.
