Summary
Oil painting on canvas, Wooded Landscape with Cows at a Riverbank by Patrick Nasmyth (Edinburgh 1787 – Lambeth 1831), signed P Nasmyth. A man and his dog stand by a fence on the left hand side. The painting is set into a giltwood frame with elaborate scrolling composition ornament. Patrick Nasmyth was the son of the landscape artist Alexander Nasmyth.
