Oil painting on canvas (oval), Possibly Colonel Arthur Upton the elder or George Butle Conyngham, British (English) School, late 17th century. An oval half-length portrait of a man, facing, gazing at the spectator, in a dark coat, lace neck-tie, long brown curled wig.

Purchased by National Trust in 1957 from William Lowry Lenox-Conyngham (1903–1957), shortly before his death, along with the other contents of Springhill
