Summary
Oil painting on canvas, Lieutenant-General Sir Albert Conyngham (d. 1691), British (English) School, 17th century. A painted oval half-length portrait of a man, turned slightly to the left, gazing at the spectator, in armour, with white cravat (jabot), edged with lace and a long brown curled wig.
Provenance
Purchased by National Trust in 1957 from William Lowry Lenox-Conyngham (1903–1957), shortly before his death, along with the other contents of Springhill
