A Spanish Walnut, Giltwood and Polychrome Decorated Chest, 19th century, the rectangular moulded top above two deep drawers and two cupboards carved with lozenge-shaped panels and rosettes painted with flowers on a blue ground, on later ebonised bun feet and brass castors. Acorn-shaped knobs and large keyholes with brass escutcheons to door and drawers.
Purchased from the estate of the late Lord Wraxall with the assistance of the NHMF and donations from members and supporters.
