Oil painting on panel, William Phillips Lamb, British (English) School, circa 1821. A full-length portrait, facing, dressed in the regalia of a Baron of the Cinque Ports, holding his white plumed hat in his left hand and with his fingers resting on a table on the left. Window to the left. William Phillips Lamb was the brother of the Reverend George Augustus Lamb, Rector of Iden, Playden and East Guldeford for 58 years, who was the last Lamb to live in Lamb House. William Phillips Lamb, MP for Rye in 1812, appears in the painting dressed in the regalia of a Baron of the Cinque Ports which he wore at the coronation of George IV in 1821. ,
