Jacqueline Geldart’s small, wooden scale model of the statue of Charles Taylor, the larger of which is in the orchard. Taylor was Sir Felix Brunner’s batman in the First World War, and head gardener at Greys Court from 1937. With Lady Brunner he resurrected the derelict gardens.
A worked wooden statue of a figure in gardening clothes and hat leaning on a spade, set within a piece of trunk, known as a maquette of the statue of a Charles Taylor, former head gardener, by Jacqueline Geldart.
