Summary
A Meissen flared hexagonal vase, one of a pair, the panels painted in the Kakiemon style with two quail among flowering plants, birds, insects and flower sprays, this one with rim chipped, blue crossed swords marks, circa 1740.
Provenance
Manufactured by Meissen circa 1740. Loaned to The National Trust by The Croome Heritage Trust in December 2007.
