Summary
Decanter, white earthenware, imitating tin-glazed earthenware or Delftware pottery, pear-shape, tapering neck, central handle and toadstool cap. Decorated with a modified version of the royal monogram of Queen Wilhlemina of the Netherlands (1880-1962) inside floral leaves and the dates '1898' and '1948' probably relating to her Golden Jubilee. Blind stamp to the base for Herman Jansen, distllers of Schiedam, Netherlands. Designed and made by Schoonhaven Keramiek, Netherlands, c. 1948
