Summary
Hand-coloured map of central Oxford by Cecily Peele (1892-1984), showing the Medical and Scientific History of Oxford. 1936. An inscription records it was given to Lord Nuffield by F. G. Hobson (probably Frederick Grieg Hobson (1891-1961)) A smaller, black and white version of this map was published in The Book of Oxford (1936) which was published for the Oxford meeting of the British Medical Association. A second copy of the map is held by the History of Science Museum at the University of Oxford (Object no.12638)
