Figures on a promenade across front, with a tower to right, seascape behind with sailing boats. Windy day.
Provenance
Presumably acquired by Ralph Stawell Dutton (1898-1985), 8th and last Lord Sherborne; with William Drown, Ltd, picture conservation and restoration, in July 1963, when reframed; bequeathed to the National Trust by Ralph Stawell Dutton, with the rest of the collections, house, gardens and estate of Hinton Ampner.
