Summary
Oil painting on canvas, Lady Laura Cecilia Parker, Countess of Antrim (1809-1883) , British (English) School, circa 1835/45/ A three-quarter -length portrait, turned to right, facing, wearing black dress and ermine-bordered cloak. Also wears a jet necklace, earrings and tiara. On her right hand, in which she holds a fan, there are two bracelets, one of jet, the other of large stones. There is also a bracelet on her left hand, in which she holds a handkerchief. Lady Laura Cecilia Parker, Countess of Antrim (1809-1883), fifth daughter of Thomas Parker, 5th Earl of Macclesfield. Married Hugh McDonnell, 4th Earl of Antrim, in 1836, by whom she had one daughter, Helen, who married Sir Malcolm MacGregor, 4th Bt. (d.1883). She was the sister of Ralph Stawell Dutton's grandmother.
