Wicker basket lined with red leather. Three square compartments on one side, two with lids, one containing velvet pin-cushion fixed in place with six black headed pins and two white headed pins. One of the lids has a hole lined in brass and contains a ball of string. There is a leather slot in larger part of basket where scissors would have been kept.
