Summary description

Oil painting on canvas, Still Life. Two-fold canvas screen painted on one side only. Right hand panel with vase of mixed flowers and dish of plums on table, shelves below with a passion fruit cut in half, figs on a china dish, slices of melon on pewter plate. Above, a silver helmet with four plumes and another vase of flowers on a ledge draped with gold and brown striped and another flock, curtains. Left hand panel with vases of flowers on ground and above, flowers falling from basket leant against blue and gold tasselled cushion. To the right, a pot plant with narrow leaves and white flowers. Hung about with black and gold tasselled curtains.
