Summary
A bronze figure of a recumbent mythical animal with the head of a dragon, the body of a horse and the scales of a fish, called a 'Chi-Lin'. On a carved wooden stand.
Provenance
Listed in the 1949 catalogue of Lady Binning's collection at Fenton House compiled by H. Clifford Smith, p. 27. Bequeathed to the National Trust by Lady Katherine Binning (1871-1952) with Fenton House in 1952.
