Summary
Oil painting on canvas, A Stone Urn with Flowers and Fruit by Nicolaas Frederik Knip (Nijmegen 1741 - s Hertogenbosch 1808), signed: N. F. Knip. Tulips, roses, lilac, convolvulus etc. are arranged in a large stone urn with leaf decoration on the base. Bunches of grapes, a peach, some corn, a cornflower and two gooseberries lie on the stone tablet on which the urn stands. In the centre a snail crawls up the vertical side of the tablet towards the fruit.
