Summary
[Destroyed in the fire of 2015] Oil painting on canvas, Wooded River Scene with Peasants, attributed to Marco Ricci (Belluno 1676 – Venice 1730). A wooded river scene, people in foreground, view of a city in background, stream nearby. The artist was the nephew of Sebastiano Ricci and came to England in 1710.
