Summary
[Salvaged] One of a pair of Japanese Arita cylindrical covered jars, in the Imari style, with shaped panels of flowers on an underglaze blue ground, each with Regence ormolu mounts, the side straps well chiselled with masks, the rims gadrooned and the covers with berry knops, converting them into tobacco jars, Paris, c. 1715-20.
