Summary
Oil painting on canvas, An Unknown Lady called 'Miss Jones', British (English) School, c.1680-1690. Three-quarter-length portrait of a young woman, sitting in an exterior, turned to the left, gazing at the spectator, her left leg propped up on the seat, her left hand leaning on a draped rock and her right hand pointing to an orange tree growing in a tub on the right. She is wearing green robes over a white chemise and a pearl necklace. Landscape setting with distant sunset horizon to the left.
