Oil painting on canvas, A Stormy Seashore Scene by George Morland (London 1763 – London 1804). A beach scene depicting five figures on a stormy seashore with a boat, donkey and a tan and white dog. The central figure has baskets on his head and is smoking a pipe.


Bequeathed by John Seely, 2nd Lord Mottistone (1899 - 1963) to the National Trust, with house, farms, woodland and most of the village
