Summary
Oil painting on canvas, Frances Georgiana Davis, Mrs Thomas Henry Baker (d.1916), British (English) School, late 19th century. A three-quarter-length portrait of a mature woman, turned slightly to the right, gazing to the right, seated, dressed in black with a white lace collar and cuffs, small black and white cap on grey hair, holding a closed black fan in both hands, her left arm leaning on the edge of a table on the right, on where there is a bowl of roses.
