Summary description

Oil painting on panel, A Hunt near Norwich, British (English) School, early 18th century. Five huntsmen with hounds chase a fox which is disappearing to the left. Scene is framed by trees with a many-spired town and hills in the background. Over-door painting from West Wing door.


Bequeathed with the hall and contents by Robert Wyndham Ketton-Cremer (1906 – 1969)

Part of the Windham Collection. The hall and contents were bequeathed to the National Trust in 1969 by Robert Wyndham Ketton-Cremer (1906-1969)
