The Infant John the Baptist with Lamb
after Bartolomé Esteban Murillo (Seville 1617 - Seville 1682)
This is a copy of the painting in the National Gallery, London. It was almost certainly made after the original came to England from France, and its sale to Sir Simon Clarke by Bryan in 1801. It was very possibly made after its arrival into the National Gallery's collections in 1840.
