Summary
A cabinet on stand, first quarter of the eighteenth century, English, japanned in black, gold and red, opening with a pair of doors to a fitted interior with ten drawers following an arrangement imitating export lacquer cabinets, the sides, doors and drawers decorated with birds and flowers in riverscapes, raised on a mid-eighteenth century ebonised stand in the Chinese style.
