Summary description

Gown bodice - Cream taffeta gown with brocaded stripes and woven floral design. Square back gown intended to be worn over hooped petticoat. Three quarter length sleeves with double pleated flounce, longer at back. Pleated frill around neck and down front. Bodice linen with linen. Stomacher missing. 1770 - 1774 (circa)
