Summary
Tapestry, wool and silk, 3½ warps per cm, Figures in a Landscape, Flemish, c. 1575-1600. A small tapestry panel with a bearded man on the left gesturing to a woman on the right who is accompanied by female attendants. There are soldiers in the landscape beyond. The tapestry has been edged with a blue and beige wool rep galloon. It may be related to another fragment in storage at Coughton, no. 135722.
