Oil painting on canvas, Apollonia Yate, Sir Peter Lely (Soest 1618 – London 1680), circa 1655, inscribed with name of sitter top left, in gold lettering. A half-length portrait of Apollonia, daugher of Sir John Yate of Buckland, 2nd Baronet, as a young girl, in a pale blue low-cut dress with grey and gold striped chiffon scarf over her left shoulder and wearing a pearl necklace.
