Summary
Oil painting on panel, Cardinal Charles Januarius Edward Acton (1803-1847) as a Boy, possibly Italian School (previously English School), circa 1810. A half-length portrait, slightly to left, in pale mauve cloak fastened at the neck, in dark cassock. He came to school in England, at the age of eight in the year his father died, in 1811.
