Oil painting on panel, John Throckmorton (d.before 1615), British (English) School, dated top right 1609 and inscribed in gold, top left in gold lettering: 'JOHN THROCKMORTON SON OF/ Sr THOs THROCKMORTON Knt' A head-and-shoulders portrait of the son of Sir Thomas Throckmorton and whomarried Agnes Wilford, to left, in dark, slashed doublet and white lace collar. Circle of William Larkin.
