Summary
Mourning hat - Made from black beaver with a brown silk lining and a headband of faded silk. The brim is bound with narrow black ribbed silk braid with a hatband of wool braid with a woven design of oak leaves and acorns and fastened with a flat bow and narrow silvered buckle. Possibly a professional mourner. (male)
