Summary
Bonnet - Made from straw plait 0.5cm painted white and handstitched through overlapped plait. It is lined with cream silk. It is edged with wire and trimmed with Bedfordshire Maltese lace and 3 rows of folded cream ribbon at the back. There is a silk tulle frill at the temples. There are cream fringed silk ribbon ties and lappets of lace (SNO.TC.1121/1123). (female)
