Summary
Jacket - Silk damask, cream ground with design of floral sprays. Narrow stripes of green and blue warp. Silk late 1750's? Lined throughout unbleached loose-woven cotton. Hip length. Low, round neck, centre front opening. Front cut plain. Gusset in skirt at side seam. No waist seam. Back shaped with 4 panels. Box pleated gusset centre back to give a wide flare to skirt.
