Summary
Pair of wooden weighing scales with wooden shaft without a needle, pair of wooden pans, each suspended on three cords knotted beneath the pans, from a hole at each end of the beam. One pane has 'W' etched into underside. 'Three beamscales, one in wood - English farmhouse c.1850.' (M Jessup).
