Wooden crucifix with tortoiseshell, ebony and ivory inlay; carved wooden figure of Christ. On two tiered, five sided, architectural base with flat back. In notebook no.4, page 195 (1340945.4) Charles Wade refers to: 'Anns Room 29. Spanish Crucifix with figure carved in Box wood, Cross of Red Tortoiseshell inlaid with ivory on ebony. 28" high.' Includes sketch
