Summary
Oil painting on panel, A Gentleman in Breeches, English School. A gentleman in breeches seated in a landscape with a black bird on a branch of the tree beside him on the right. A small crest of arms with soldiers either side of a shield and ‘Esto fidelis’ is inset in the bottom left hand corner next to a tree trunk.
