Summary
Oil painting on canvas (oval), Mary Earle Wiggett Bulwer (1759 - 1821), English School, late 18th century. An oval portrait of Mary Wigget Bulwer, half length, seated to the right wearing a pink dress, with a green sash and a powdered wig. She brought up her neice, Mary Blanche Bulwer (1890 - 1904)(Charles Wade's great-grandmother) when Mary Blanche's mother, Amy Grover, died.
Provenance
Given to the National Trust with Snowshill Manor in 1951 by Charles Paget Wade.
