Animal basket, oval shaped body with hinged caged door to front and lid with handle. Two pegs used to hold door closed. Loop handle. In notebook no.5, page 4 (1340945.5) Charles Wade refers to: 'Lace Room no.10 Wicker Basket for carrying the cat'. Wade has also included a detailed drawing of the basket and annotated it with dimensions.
Given to the National Trust with Snowshill Manor in 1951 by Charles Paget Wade.
