Oval cane basket on an outer stand with boat shaped bulbous body, attached lid with cane ring and slot in centre. Two carrying handles. In notebook no.5, page 8 (1340945.5) Charles Wade refers to: 'Lace Room no.59 Three oval Baskets of fine work, one decorated with coloured wools'. Includes sketch of one. (Others are 1335679 & 1335689).
Given to the National Trust with Snowshill Manor in 1951 by Charles Paget Wade.
