Summary
Japanses Kotsuzumi (small drum from the No Theatre). Black lacquered wooden sound box decorated with painted peacock feathers and the Kiri-Mon of the Mikado family in gold and red. Sound box shaped like an elongated egg timer. Plain cords. Top and bottom wider than sound box, rims stiffened and painted black. Three black spots around each cord hole. Skin in poor condition.
