Rectangular wicker basket with lid attached by leather ties, one broken and replaced with string. Lid has remnants of two leather strips interwoven. Fastening of knotted cord attached to base, to be threaded through square hole in lid. Interior lined with newspaper EVENING POST, Tuesday, Aug 19, 1986. Two holes inside panels (for carrying?). Base shows mould and small amount of damage.
