Summary
Oil painting on canvas (oval), Mrs (Judge) Walrond, manner of Sir Godfrey Kneller (Lübeck 1646/9 - London 1723), circa 1710-25. A half-length portrait of a lady with light-brown hair wearing a white chemise with a scarlet robe over which is pinned together with fastenings on her upper right arm and across her chest. She wears a blue/grey coat off her left shoulder and is set against a dark background. She faces the spectator but looks towards the right. A companion to the portrait of Judge Walrond, the sitter's spouse.
